The driver’s licence history is a type of driver record commonly used for vehicle insurance. Uncertified records meet most people’s needs.

Driver Licence History Check Online
Click the below to Order:
Be ready to:
- enter your driver’s licence number, name, address and date of birth
- enter the reason for your request
- pay with a valid VISA, Mastercard or debit card
Update your address before you order to have it sent to the address we have on file.
To send an uncertified or certified record by mail to a different address, you can request it online or order by mail.
Delivery
- your order for an uncertified or certified record (with a seal) will be processed within 15 business days and then sent by regular mail via Canada Post
- no digital versions will be provided
In person
- go to a ServiceOntario location
- be ready to pay with:
- cash
- debit
- VISA or Mastercard credit cards
- certified cheque or money order in CAD funds payable to the Minister of Finance
Delivery
- you will get the uncertified record immediately (without address information)
- your order for a certified record with a seal will be processed within 15 business days and then sent by regular mail via Canada Post
By mail
To order a driver’s licence history and have it sent to an address that is different from what we have on file:

- complete and print the fillable form
- send the form by mail to:
